After an interesting 2008, R-Evolve has been refined further.

Jamie has started working a lot more with synthesizers and keyboards and has been dabbling a lot in ambient background music. This should combine nicely with R-Evolve, allowing him to produce interesting soundscape backgrounds for songs, ala Filter or Faunts or Nine Inch Nails or Porcupine Tree. This should also stop us from being pigeonholed into one specific genre.

Andy has been hard at work with his guitar, writing songs and becoming a better guitarist than Jamie, which should provide a solid basis for both songwriting and giving us a steady structure and rhythm. And I (Jamie) am hoping that all those days and nights of drumming on Rock Band should have given him a good base with which to start learning to drum.

Chris has been... well, Chris. In that nobody's quite sure of what he's been up to. Mr Covert Ops indeed.

A few song lyrics will be going up over the next few days after I finish transferring them from paper to the computer. But for now, have a good time.
